Meet Jess Inness – Speech Pathologist
Jess is the heart of Simplify Speech—bubbly, energetic, and passionate about helping children find their voice. With experience in education, early intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Indigenous health, and private practice in Brisbane, she brings a well-rounded skill set to her work.
Jess is skilled in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), supporting non-verbal children, feeding, literacy, multidisciplinary collaboration, and culturally responsive care. She tailors therapy to each child’s needs, creating fun, engaging, and strengths-based sessions. Her warmth and enthusiasm help build strong, supportive connections with families.
Outside the clinic, Jess enjoys chasing her daughter around the park and she is a strong believer that Christmas celebrations should start in November.

Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland (Honours)
